• My first inked print was light and hard to see how do I make the second print darker?

Try a light spritz of water to the ink pad and make sure baby/child's hand and/or foot is thoroughly covered with ink.  Press hand/foot firmly onto tie.

• What type of ink is used on the ink pad?

The ink used on the ink pad is water-based, non-toxic, washable and safe for use on baby's skin. 

• If the enclosed ink pad did not seem to produce a dark enough print can I ask for a replacement?

Yes, if you were not fully satisfied with the inked prints produced by the ink pad we will gladly replace your tie and ink pad. 

• How do I prevent the smudging of the water-based inked prints after I have created the tie?

A light spray of 'Scotchguard' may be applied to the finished prints on tie AFTER the hand or footprint has DRIED.  Avoid several sprays of 'Scotchguard' as this may cause the prints to run or smear.

• I do not have a Paypal account can I still pay for my tie using a credit card?

Yes, e-mail us at daddystie@earthlink.com and we will send you an invoice for the amount due that can be paid using any major credit card.
